rode 34.4 miles in 2 hours and 20 minutesCommute. Ugh, as good as my legs felt yesterday they felt bad today. The massive headwind from the west might have something to do with that (15+ mph sustained). 05/29/2008 0 comments |
rode 34.4 miles in 2 hours and 10 minutesCommute. The evening ride had the worst drivers I've ever seen: Honking at cyclists trying to turn left; Attempting "Right Hooks"; crowding/straddling the white line. Not cool. 05/28/2008 0 comments |
rode 58 miles in 4 hoursUgh. I missed a turn, so wound up combining two workouts: a distance workout and a hill workout. Not optimal for a person complaining about his hill legs.

rode 35.6 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutesCommute. I was planning on extending the 2nd half of the route, but a rain squall half way in convinced me otherwise. Hills were especially difficult, which is a bit frustrating given tuesday's ride. 05/24/2008 0 comments |
rode 3.44 miles in 20 minutesMy first mountain climb... Not sure what to say, it was tough, but I can't wait to do it again! Descent was tricky, I nearly ran out of road a handful of times. snurl.com/29tac 05/20/2008 0 comments |
rode 47 miles in 3 hours and 5 minutesI really should get a Garmin, since I keep getting lost using my crib notes. Who knew one town would have two streets with the same name. 05/18/2008 0 comments |
rode 9.2 miles in 30 minutesJust a quick maintenance ride, before tomorrows long ride. 05/17/2008 0 comments |
rode 34.6 miles in 2 hours and 20 minutesTo summarize the day's commute, with apologies to Apocalypse Now, "The headwind... the headwind..." 05/13/2008 0 comments |
rode 53 miles in 2 hours and 30 minutesNice ride. Around 2 hours in Google Maps and reality diverged for a few miles (and hills), but it only added three miles to the original route. All in all an excellent ride. 05/11/2008 0 comments |
rode 34 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutesCommute. Got passed by a Time Trial bike during the morning commute. We both slogged up the hill together, then just after the crest, click click click and he's away. 05/07/2008 0 comments |
